Demonstration store

This shop was built from your own public catalogue.

Somebody at Specify pointed our software at your website. It read your products, your colours and your typeface, and assembled a working store from them so you could see your own business running on it rather than read a description of it. Nothing in it is a real offer, and nobody at your company approved it.

What you are looking at

A real store, with example content.

Your products, read off your site

The names, descriptions and pictures come from pages you publish. We did not invent your catalogue, and we did not contact you to assemble it.

Prices that are ours, not yours

Where your site publishes no prices, the figures in the demo are our own illustration so the configurator has something to add up. Treat every amount as a placeholder.

Options we suggested

Some choices in the configurator are marked as suggested for the demonstration. Those are not your catalogue — they are what the software thought a customer might reasonably ask you for.

Nothing anybody can buy

The checkout works, because it is the same software a paying merchant runs. No order placed here reaches you, and no money moves.

If you want the real one

The demo is the starting point, not the deliverable.

Claim it and it becomes yours

Sign up and the store you are looking at becomes an account you control — same products, same look, yours to correct. Everything we got wrong is editable, and most of it is wrong in small ways because we were guessing.

Correct the catalogue

Your real prices, your real options, your own photographs. The parts we suggested either become real or go.

Or tell us to take it down

Demonstration stores expire on their own. If you would rather it went now, say so and it goes — and we will not build you another.

If it is your business

Three things you can do about it.

You did not ask us for this store. All three of these reach a person.

  • Claim the store

It becomes an account you control, and everything we guessed at becomes editable.

  • Tell us what is wrong

We built it from your public catalogue and inferred the rest. Say what we got wrong and we will fix it or remove it.

  • Ask us to take it down

No explanation needed. A person removes it, and we will not build you another.

Want the version that is actually yours?

Claiming the store keeps what is right and lets you fix what is not. Or write to us with what we got wrong — that is useful to us either way.
